Corporate House Sponsorship
In addition to our three ongoing community-based house sponsorship groups, Habitat partners with other local organizations to build homes. Corporate house sponsors provide financial assistance to build a specific house and also recruit the volunteers who help us to build it. To date, Yale-New Haven Hospital and its Medical Staff have sponsored five new Habitat homes in the Hill North community. A groundbreaking for the two most recent (34 & 38 Vernon Street, New Haven) was held in October 2011. Habitat is grateful to YNHH and its Medical Staff for their continuing support and firm commitment to partnering with us.
