Habitat builds and rehabilitates homes in the Greater New Haven area with the goal of creating safe, decent, affordable houses that add to the revitalization of New Haven’s neighborhoods. Habitat accomplishes its mission by partnering with individuals, religious and civic organizations, local businesses and corporations.
Homeownership Program Presentation and Applications Available from October 15-31, 2024
Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven offers a Homeownership Program that will prepare individuals and families to purchase their first home. Some members of the Homeownership Program may choose to purchase a home with Habitat for Humanity but you will also be introduced to other agencies and resources that can help you on your homebuying journey.
Please note that your application is for participation in the Homeownership Program, it is not an application for a mortgage on any Habitat home. Acceptance into the Homeownership Program does not guarantee that you will purchase a home from our organization.
