COVID-19 Health and Safety Update: May 20

The CDC and State of Connecticut updated their guidance for COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols this week. With these updates, we have changed our mask wearing policy at the New Haven County ReStore in Wallingford. Customers and donors who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer need to wear a mask in the ReStore. We ask that all shoppers continue to keep their distance from others and refrain from shopping at the ReStore if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

All health and safety protocols, including mask wearing, will remain in place on the build sites until at least the end of this month. We will evaluate our policies at the end of May and will update all volunteers of any changes when they are made.

If you have any questions about what to expect when visiting the ReStore or volunteering on our build sites please feel free to contact us at 203-785-0894 or email info@habitatgnh.org.

Our Annual Appeal Letter Featuring the Lopez-Sandoval Family!

Each year we ask one family to share their story in our annual appeal letter. This year, homeowner Patty and her children welcomed us to their home to share how being a part of Habitat has changed their lives in the past year, and how it is helping them to prepare for the future. We hope you will read the appeal letter and make a donation in support of other families just like Patty’s. Thank you as always for your generosity!
